Tips for laser-cutting Everix filters

Laser-cutting filters require some special handling to keep ablated material from sticking to the filter surface after cutting. Here are some of the procedures we follow to obtain good results.

Everix uses a 50 W COâ‚‚ laser system to cut our filters. Note that these parameters will depend on your laser cutting system.

Power = 9.5%

Speed = 10 mm/s

Often, we take several passes to cut through the filter to minimize edge effects.
